The Burns Trust throws the cocktail party of the year to keep an Australian family together. Check out the photos of the event...
On the suitably icy Saturday evening of July 16, 400 lucky guests ventured curiously through the Victor Richardson gates, and across the red-carpeted Adelaide Oval, sporting a glass of bubbly, for the fundraising party of the year!
Welcomed by the spanking new function centre beautifully transformed into an ice cavern, the night was packed with entertainment and hospitality.
Julian Burton's extraordinary drive and vision brought a room full movers and shakers together to pool their support for the Knudsons, a single parented family struggling with the medical needs of 12 year old Dylan, who endured 3rd degree burns to 60% of his body.
Money raised went towards the purchase of a 7 seat car so father Luke can transport the children safely, and together, between Dylan's Adelaide Hospital appointments from their home in Berri.
The night was special in so many ways, the Daylight Breaks guys will never forget being part of it, and we'd like to congratulate Julian and the guys at The Burns Trust for keeping the Knudson family together.
